The team’s Fisherman/fishsticks jerseys are back, for 15 magical, seasickness-inducing minutes. Remember the 90s?

The Isles wore those from 1995-97. People did not care for them — enough so that the team when the team reverted to its 80s-dynasty logo and a more normal color scheme, winger Steve Webb disrobed at center ice. From the Isles’ website:

Time heals all wounds, though. We anxiously await the Ducks’ inevitable Wild Wing night.

Not only were they enthusiastic, but it also brought an end to the “No more fish sticks” chant.

“When the fans started really chanting ‘no more fish sticks’, it was the loudest cheer in the building and that’s what they were cheering for, not the production on the ice, but getting rid of the jersey logo,” Webb said. “You could tell it was affecting the way they [the fans] thought and the way they viewed the team.
